    Warts can be very difficult to treat. Most treatments consist of liquid nitrogen and salicylic acid. These treatments damage the top layer of skin where the wart lives but unfortunately warty tissue is very tough and sometimes the treatment cant damage the warty tissue. These topical treatments normally need multiple sessions weekly and can take months to resolve.

    For this patient, we used a brand new innovative machine using microwave energy to eliminate this stubborn wart called ‘SWIFT Microwave Treatment’. This new treatment option uses your own immune system to attack and destroy foot warts.

    This new treatment technique uses microwave energy to create a ‘heat shock’ that stimulates the patient’s immune system to attack the warty tissue.
